A Truly Unique Experience

Come learn what it means to be a passenger host on our vintage trains. Take a free ride to Dresser and walk through the cars with our volunteer trainer. Throughout the afternoon you'll learn the history and equipment of each car, safety rules for passenger trains, and how we offer our first-class service!

Learn about what it's like to work on the railroad at the Jackson Street Roundhouse! See behind the scenes and work side by side with experienced train crews. Begin the day learning about the rules and safety of the railroad, then operate a locomotive with our senior enginners. There are also opportunities to work in our restoration shop, maintain track, and learn about the historic tours we provide.
